Two and a half weeks

Well, I am scheduled to leave in about two and a half weeks and I have yet to do anything... Oops :)

2019 Christmassy UK Visit

I made my trip to the UK in November, but it wasn’t quite what I planned it to be back in July. It ended up being a very chill trip spent with a ridiculous amount of cups of tea in bed with some of the people I love most. I was really lucky I didn’t get delayed like last time, but I did manage to book myself a 5 and a half hour layover at JFK on the way there (what an amateur, amiright?), so that was super long. But I made it there in once piece on Wednesday and met up with Lucy to have a Nando’s and work our way out of central London and out to Surrey. We arrived at her house where I was greeted with many a birthday decoration, a pile of presents, and a cupcake. We had takeaway from a really good Indian restaurant and spent the night watching I’m a Celeb with her family.  She then surprised me with a super cute cake, which was adorable. Making my way back to Plymouth

This year, due to lack of funds, my trip was postponed until September/October. I found a killer deal on flights, so I booked and hoped that my friends would be able to see me during that time. Luckily, they were all available! Two days before I left this time, I got a terrible cold. I went to Walgreens and spent $70 on cold medicine so I could hopefully not be sick when I came over. Didn't work, but hey ho, worth a shot. I got on the plane and luckily I didn't have anyone sitting next to me, I didn't feel so bad coughing, but I did feel bad for others near me. I did my best to sleep, didn't work well even with NyQuil. Once I arrived, I had about an hour and a half to get through customs and to the train station to catch my train to Exeter. Paolo Nutini, Plymouth, London, and Coming Home

Welp. It's been about three weeks since I got home. Oops. I want to apologise in advance for the typos that are going to be in this and the terrible writing. I am trying to write about a week and a half's worth of events as quickly as possible so I can either play sims or help my dad move stuff. Sooooooo where did I leave off? I think I was about to start getting ready to go to Paolo Nutini. Which was exactly a month ago. Yikes. Paolo was awesome. The concert was at this really cool place called the Eden Project, which has three GIANT bubble, biome things that light up and change colors at night. Alice's sister made pasties and we took two each - we ate one in the car before we went into the show and ate one on the way home. Pasties are awesome, by the way. It's like beef stew in a pouch. Really delicious. It did rain a bit, but I had my Guinness hat on, so I didn't get as wet as I could have. There were two opening acts and the beer lines were super long. But ove...
